Flattening G-DEVS / HLA structure for Distributed Simulation of Workflows

چکیده

The objective of the paper is to present a new flatten G-DEVS simulation structure and a Workflow environment based on it. We describe first the new flattened simulation structure and give the transformation functions. Then, having selected the essential concepts in the elaboration of Workflow, we present a language of description to define Workflow processes. We illustrate the use of the new G-DEVS M&S structure with a Workflow environment for modeling and simulating Microelectronic wafer production. Finally, we define a distributed Workflow Reference Model that interfaces components of the Workflow by conforming to the HLA standard.
